Sunday, September 20, 11:00am – 1:00 PM
Corner of Walnut and 18th Street, center city Philadelphia

Granny Peace Brigade Philadelphia members will show how the House passed bill to cut 10% from the Military Budget could be used to benefit people when and if the Senate votes it in.  We will have a clothesline on which we will hang a picture of a nuclear bomb and we will then hang to beneficial things for which we could better use the money.  We will be urging people to tell Congress we want to buy peace not war with our Philadelphia tax dollars.  Join us at the corner of Walnut and 18th Street to send a post card to your Senator to let him know how you feel about how your money is being used.
